I was born in Houston, Texas as a first generation American to Turkish-Canadian parents. The beautiful game has been apart of my life for as long as I remember and I am grateful to have experienced some of the best opportunities the sport has to offer.
Growing up, I played in some of the most prestigious youth leagues across the United States such as the USSDA, the ECNL, and MLS Next, and captained one of the most prolific high school programs in the country, Seven Lakes HS, that brought me numerous All-District awards, All-State awards, and an All-American nomination. I had also spent 2 years playing in the USL League Two, the nation's top pre-professional league.
Upon graduating, I had amassed over 21 NCAA D1 scholarships before committing to Xavier University, where I spent some time before stepping away from college soccer to invest my time into my new company. I chose to found PlayerFirst to spread my knowledge accumulated during my recruitment process, and help others that are willing to invest in themselves for the game they love.
